About Me



Personal:

After having lived and worked in San Jose, California for 40 years, my wife, Mary Lou and I retired to Sandy, Utah in 1995. We have been married 61 years, and are the parents of four daughters and one son. We are grandparents to 18 grandchildren and great-grandparents to fourteen.

Professional:

After attaining my Master's Degree in English from the University of Santa Clara, California, I taught English, American Literature, and the Bible as Literature for 30 years at West Valley College in Saratoga, California.

Church Service:

I have served as Gospel Doctrine teacher, on the High Councils of two different stakes, three bishoprics, as bishop, as First and Second Counselor in the Morgan Hill, California Stake Presidency. My wife and I have served two missions; one as Institute Directors in Lyon, France, and the other as ordinance workers in the Mexico City Temple.
